We really liked the pricing structure for this online billing and invoice service; it was the most economical service that offers unlimited invoicing; this is a great option for those who need to send out a lot of simple invoices without complex tax scenarios, discounts or credits. We did like that it will let you store the currency per client instead of having to set a default or global setting or having to select one for every invoice.
Curdbee online billing is mostly designed for email invoicing; they do not offer postal mailing of invoices, but they can email invoices as a PDF or as a link to an HTML invoice that can be viewed through a browser. They can also send one invoice to multiple email addresses.
Curdbee is one of the few services at this end of the rankings that will let you customize your invoice by adding a logo and changing the background, header and header background colors. We liked that your color choices are not limited; you can enter any HTML color code you desire and it will be added to your correspondence. You can also customize emails and notifications.
The online billing features of CurdBee are a bit limited. It can print and email receipts and send overdue statements; however, you have to pay an extra for recurring billing, and they offer limited reporting.
CurdBee online billing service can process payments utilizing PayPal, Authorize.net and 2Checkout (2OC) for an extra subscription cost of $5 per month. These are all good payment processing choices.
This online billing service can manage basic client information such as name, email, address and a fax and phone number. However, it can only store one physical address. We did like, however, that it will let you save the currency per customer, so when you create an invoice it will automatically input the correct currency type. It will also let you set the country per customer, and it is not limited to just one or two country choices.
We are pleased to be able to relate that CurdBee online billing did respond to our initial email asking them about their security protocols. All subscription accounts are SSL enabled, and passwords are stored using SHA-2 based encryption. They did not relate who handles their servers, but they do say in their privacy policy that data is stored using third-party vendors who usually offer things like redundant storage and guaranteed up times.
We found CurdBee to be one of the easier online billing services to use. It has an efficient interface that offers only three choices: home, invoices and manage. We think if they had split manage into clients and items, it would be even easier to figure out. With their clean look you don’t have to spend time trying to find things like “create a new client” because it is in an obvious spot for fast invoice creation.
We did receive good email response from CurdBee online billing customer support. They answered all of our email inquiries, and they post some discussions and articles online. However, if you click the help link when logged in, in just takes you to the discussion and article page, it does not take you to additional support. They also do not offer a support phone number or chat support.
If you need to send out a lot of simple invoices via the internet, CurdBee may work for you. This online billing and invoice service is also exceptionally easy to use and they answer their emails. However, if you need more complex invoicing, credit term management and more customer management options, you may want to look at one of our higher-ranked products.
