BillMyClients offers a decent feature set but, like the other lower ranked online billing and invoice services, they did not respond to a single one of our emails. No matter how great a product may seem, we cannot recommend that you trust your small business accounting needs to a company that does not respond to their emails. In addition, since they do not respond to emails, we wonder if you can trust them to send out your invoices by mail, which is one of the services they report to offer.
This online billing and invoice service offers several different packages. You can pay for an unlimited email invoice plan or email/mail plan by the invoice. Here are their rates:

The most unique thing BillMyClients online billing system provides is that you can include item images with your invoice, which we liked. We also liked that they offer email and regular postal mail invoicing. Invoices can be customized with your logo and other alterations can be made. Invoices can also be exported to other programs. With the unlimited plan you can send attachments and create an item database. This service can also work with multiple currencies.
We would like to see them add an estimate or quote module and the ability to track expenses. However, we did like that they do have a built-in time for time billing.
This invoice and billing service does offer some good online billing features such as recurring billing, client billing reports, the ability to accept partial payments and it can send overdue invoices by email. We would like to see this online billing solution have the ability to apply one payment to more than one invoice.
This service works with BluePay, Authorize.net and PayPal for payment processing.
The BillMyClients client module can manage basic information such as name, contact person, two addresses, two email addresses, a phone number and notes. Similar to some other online billing and invoice services, this one can only save two addresses that are in the same city. You cannot have a shipping and business address that are not in the same city and zip code. However, you can add notes to the profile and when you have an existing customer profile open you can view convenient client reports. We also liked that you can click on their email address and send them an email instantly.
Since BillMyCustomers did not respond to our email questions so we do not know the specifics of what extra security measures they employ to protect you and your clients’ online billing information. They do, however, have a valid QuickSSL certificate and use BluePay, PayPal and Authorize.net for credit card processing which provide good protection for their users.
We found this online billing and invoice product fairly easy to use. However, the user interface is more cluttered and text oriented than some of our more up-to-date higher ranked services. We would also like to see more automated features.
Unfortunately, when you click the support button it takes you to an email form and they did not respond to our email. We emailed them several times over a few weeks time and we did not receive a single response. They do not provide a support section on the BillMyClients website and their forum seems to be inactive.
The only reason this online billing and invoice service ranks higher than some of the other online accounting products we have reviewed is that the actual program offers a few more features than they do. However, we cannot recommend BillMyClients since they do not provide good customer and technical support to their clients. Please check out one of our higher ranked services.
BillMyClients has payment tracking, a built-in timer and XML integration.
They do not have an estimate creation module and they do not respond to email.
We think you would be more satisfied using a service that responds to customer support email questions.
